8 Things Women really want from Men

A woman really doesn’t want much from a man. There are really only eight things – eight qualities that she’s looking for in a life partner. Although these qualities are hard to find, they are qualities of which every man is capable. These seven things are not out of any man’s reach, yet the fact is that most lack at least one.

Now, you may like to argue that no one is perfect and therefore no one has all seven of these qualities, but that’s just not true. There are plenty of men out there who are sufficient in each of these categories, not perfectly, but sufficient enough to make a woman incredibly happy. That’s all that matters!

1. Honesty – but not too much of it.
A woman doesn’t want a man to lie to her about important matters. She wants to be an important part of his life – the most important part, in fact. She wants to know the things that are going on his life and she wants him to have trust in her. As far as she is concerned, they are one – his life is her life.

She wants him to want to share in his pleasant experiences and memories. She also doesn’t want him to feel that he has to lie. On the other hand, she doesn’t want the truth in all circumstances. Brutal honesty isn’t wanted.

If she asks, she looks great, she looks beautiful, the fact she gained 15 pounds doesn’t bother you, her new haircut makes her look even cuter. Now that I think about it, the only thing you should really lie is about such shallow matters as appearances. We all look like sh*t sometimes – but she doesn’t need to hear you say it.

2. Be strict with her at times. She needs to know you are in control not her.

When it comes to choice making for her, she realy want you to be strict. I mean you cant just allow her to go anywhere, wear anything, walk with anybody or do anyhow. Many women have even taken some men's gentleness for granted.

She really wanna see the hard and angry part of you in a caring way. With that, she can feel secure of not misbehaving while you are away. Leaving her with the fear of her knowing what you will do wen she misbehaves is enough.

3. Understanding – so that she doesn’t feel the need to have to explain herself.
She wants you to know her – inside and out. Why? Because only then will you love her for her. We all sometimes need confirmation that we’re worth loving. The real us – not the people others perceive us to be. We may not all need such a confirmation of our value, but we all want it. But it’s more than just that.

Love, Dating and Genotype(did you know your status)?

In time past, when we didnt actually give more concern to doing blood test, sugar test, fertility test, h.i.v virus test, e.t.c before getting married, our grandfathers has fed us with lies of ABIKU, which we received like it does exist. 'ABIKU', as they are popularly called in yoruba land, are children born and dies not up to a ripe age due to constant sickness.

datingyouths.blogspot.com
This has come as a result of the combination of the wrong blood genotype from the father and mother, bringing about the production of an SS, which they call ABIKU.

As advanced as technology is today, such shouldnt be the norm of the day anymore. Yet still, many learned youths of today are making the mistake. We should be the one to make the campaign to the illiterates, not we being the victim. As i could still recall, in our biology class, that AA is the general controller of all (i.e, they can mate with any other genotype). in this case, the AS, SS and the discovery of AC and SC, are all limited to their option of choosing a life partner.

In one of my previous article, "LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH", this are part of the things to be considered before actually saying "YES, I DO" to your partner. No matter how much the love, the future of the unborn kids and your finances should be given more priority.

The Crazy Cycle.

What is the Crazy Cycle?

Craziness is when we keep doing the same thing — again and again — with the same ill effect. Marital craziness is when we do the same thing — over and over — with the same negative results. I call it the Crazy Cycle. When hurt and frustrated, we continue reacting in negative ways to motivate our spouse to be positive. Can you believe it? That's like flipping broken light switches for 30 minutes.

All who are married go through this cycle. The topics change, and the intensity varies, but the crazy cycle continues. One day the argument may be about a dinner choice, the next day the argument may be about child-rearing methods. Next month, it's about a marriage book and then about the lack of money.
This happens among good willed people. Sadly, some think they have a horrible marriage because of this craziness. Truth is, they are inches away from making an adjustment that can set them in a whole new and positive course, only if they are ready to stop the craziness.

Stopping the Crazy Cycle

The key is to see underneath this "craziness," to the heart of a spouse. Making love feel like, its new even after long time marriage.
Based on Ephesians 5:33, I discovered why a husband and wife react the way they do. We read, "each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband" (NIV).

Because a wife needs love, a husband would be wise to assume his wife's negative reaction is rooted in her feeling unloved. On the other hand, because a husband needs respect, a wife would be prudent to assume her husband's negative reaction is rooted in his feeling disrespected.

Is it time for you to apply God’s truth? It takes work, but it works. It may not be fair, but God’s truth is revealed to people in unfair situations. A respectful or loving demeanor prevents a wife or husband from repeatedly flipping broken light switches.

God bless your home!!!

Love and Respect: A Royal Marriage

There is something intriguing about royalty – and a royal marriage. It's as if something within all of us longs to be royal.  Did you know that God says we are royalty? "You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light" (1 Peter 2:9).
God has put in the heart of every little girl to be a princess. She dresses up, talks about it, even dreams about it. As a woman, she wants to be first in the heart of her prince. She wants to be loved and treasured like a princess.

A little boy wants to be the hero, defending the fort and saving others from danger. As a man, he wants to be the prince, the hero that his princess admires and respects. He is designed by God to be a man of honor, one who is responsible to provide and care for his princess.
The wedding ceremony is a great picture of the prince and the princess dynamic – the love and respect is evident, and it is beautiful. But what often happens in that first year is that he isn't as loving as she expected or needed him to be. And she often stops treating her prince with the respect that he needs. She needs to be loved, to be his princess; he needs to be respected, to be her prince. When this dynamic breaks down, the relationship gets crazy.

Benevolent Goodwill

In a safe and secure kingdom (even when that kingdom is a home), its people thrive. Effective kingdom leaders demonstrate benevolent goodwill to the people. In marriage, the importance of goodwill is just as important.

After 2 years of being parents, Randy was assigned and went to another country for his work and Jessica was left behind with their 2 year old son. Despite the distance, they talked every night on Skype like they are not too far with each other and it was a routine. But after 8 months of not being together, Randy was confused why Jessica can only go online about once or twice a week. She always says she was busy, on her work, with the chores or even with their son, but because of his love and trust of his wife, he understood.
When Randy went home after 14 months, he wondered why his wife always on a rush saying she has lots of things to do. Randy starts to doubt Jessica, so he followed her to her office only to find out she wasn’t there. He starts calling and there’s no answer and became worried. He went to Jessica’s family to inform them that Jessica is missing and they immediately took a move to find Jessica but only to find out that Jessica tried to move out and leave  her family and be with her new guy. Randy’s trust shattered, and there was no turning back. They were lost in a sea of suspicion and secrecy.

3 things lasting relationships have in common.

The three main ingredients for a lasting relationship may surprise you because they’re not love, sex or money...

If couples want to last the 50 years to celebrate their golden anniversary, they need to bring more pragmatic stuff to the relationship than just the sparkly, shiny feeling of being in love. So what are two of the main ingredients in the recipe for everlasting togetherness?
The answer is commitment and space, according to two studies. These attributes may not be romantic or earth-moving, but experts say that mixed with generous dollops of respect, caring and affection, they can help your relationship shuffle happily into the twilight years.

1. A commitment to go all the way

The median age for divorce in the world has been rising steadily for two decades and is now 41.3 years for women and 44.2 for men. A third divorces occur in marriages of 20 years or more at a stage in life when many would feel the real hard work of raising kids, establishing careers and paying off bills could be behind them.
So why are these long relationships busting

Types of kiss and their meaning!

The Forehead Kiss – The forehead kiss usually means that you are just friends. Depending on how it is planted, it can also be used as a means of showing deep affection to a loved one. Most people use use it as a starter kiss when they meet someone new, to express that they like them.

The French Kiss – The French is considered most popular romantic kiss. A kiss is named ‘French kiss’ when a person’s tongue touches another person’s tongue. This is why it is also known as tongue kissing. This type of kiss is very easy to execute but it may take years to master.

5 Things to Consider Before Moving in.

Thinking about moving in with your SO? Wait, stop right there. Drop the packing tape and sit down.

Now, I'm a firm believer in the "when you know, you know," theory, and I think everyone's relationships are different and everyone moves at different paces, however, I do believe there are certain things that should be considered before moving in together whether you've been dating a year or five years.

1. Make sure you're on the same page with whatever it is you are to each other: want to get married? Say it. Want to Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell it? Say it. Basically, have the "where is this going" talk BEFORE going to get a U-Haul, k?

2. Talk money: if one of you isn't contributing to the bills equally, it could put a lot of strain on your relationship. It's no fun being the ONLY one bringing home the bacon, because who wants to share delicious thick-cut, maple-glazed bacon with someone who doesn't help out, nah I mean?

3. Be okay with losing a little independence: you don't have to lose your independence entirely, but the idea of coming and going as you please and answering to no one is a thing of the past when living with a SO. Prepare to communicate more, share a bathroom, and let him/her know when you're out late, so ya know, he/she doesn't think you're dead. It's just courtesy.

4. Pass the vacation test: do you still find each other attractive after long vacations (or short ones)? If so, you passed the test; however, think twice if you want to kill each other during or by the end.

5. Make sure you can reconcile after arguments: hopefully this doesn't come as a shock, but you will argue when you move in together. It might be over something ridiculous, like not refilling the toilet paper roll, or it might be over something huge. So if you can't talk it out and move on before living together, you need to take a step back and reassess. There's no such thing as "I need space" when you live together, because you live together.

Respect Your Husband (Even if You Don't Think He 'Deserves' It)

datingyouths.BlogSpot.com
My husband, Ron, admits that he used to be jerk, but I discovered a secret formula that turned him into a loving husband: I started treating him like a VIP! Ron always wanted me to respect him, but I thought he had to earn it and I had to feel it, before I could do it. Wrong.
We women are very good at pointing out our husbands’ faults and failures and punishing them for not meeting our needs, but that only leads to discontent and distance in our marriages.  We all know that yelling, nagging, and belittling are disrespectful and ineffective. So I’m suggesting a radical concept: Treat him like a king, and eventually, hopefully, he will begin to treat you like a queen.

Instead of waiting for him earn your respect, behave respectfully and watch him grow into the man God designed him to be.
Twenty five years ago, our marriage was on the brink of divorce. I was controlling, critical and disrespectful so Ron was defensive and angry. We were both Christians but neither of us was living a sprit-filled life. I was letting my emotions

Kissing Is Not Communicating.

datingyouths.BlogSpot.com
After reading a section of a book titled 'Boys Meet Girls, say Hello to courtship', I find the 'More than just talking' aspect amusing and interesting. As it was written, communication is not such a simple thing as we all see it to be. Even the best relationships have times
